Ce robot insecto\u00efde s&rsquo;inspire des fourmis du d\u00e9sert <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cataglyphis_fortis\" target=\"_blank\">Cataglyphis fortis<\/a> \u00e0 bien des \u00e9gards.<br><br>Le robot AntBot a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 dans le cadre de la th\u00e8se de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/julien-dupeyroux-12a66a8a\/?originalSubdomain=nl\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/julien-dupeyroux-12a66a8a\/?originalSubdomain=nl\">Julien Dupeyroux<\/a> (2015-2019, ISM &#8211; AMU\/CNRS) que j&rsquo;ai co-dirig\u00e9 avec <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ism.univ-amu.fr\/viollet\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.ism.univ-amu.fr\/viollet\/\">St\u00e9phane Viollet<\/a>. Cette modalit\u00e9 sensorielle a \u00e9t\u00e9 reproduite sur AntBot au moyen d&rsquo;une boussole c\u00e9leste comprenant deux pixels sensibles \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re UV et surmont\u00e9s de filtres polarisants lin\u00e9aires rotatifs. La vision du flux optique ventral des insectes a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 reproduite sur AntBot \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un capteur minimaliste (seulement 12 pixels) bio-inspir\u00e9 et auto-adaptatif aux changements de luminosit\u00e9 : <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/s17030571\" target=\"_blank\">le capteur M\u00b2APix (Michaelis-Menten Auto-Adaptive Pixels)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mim\u00e9tisme comportemental<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Afin de naviguer en toute autonomie, AntBot embarque un syst\u00e8me de navigation directement inspir\u00e9 de l&rsquo;int\u00e9grateur de chemin des fourmis du d\u00e9sert. Ce mode de navigation vectoriel et relatif permet notamment \u00e0 l&rsquo;insecte de fusionner des informations de cap (vision de la lumi\u00e8re polaris\u00e9e de la vo\u00fbte c\u00e9leste) et de distance (combinaison du flux optique ventral et du comptage de pas) pour estimer \u00e0 chaque instant son vecteur de \u00ab\u00a0homing\u00a0\u00bb, donnant ainsi la direction, le sens et la distance \u00e0 parcourir pour retrouver le nid.
